The school was established in 1830. The President of Chamberlain-Hunt Academy is Jim Montgomery and Dean being its Wesley McClure. The headmaster of the school is Keith Farley. The school was founded by Reverend Jeremiah Chamberlain and Presbyterian Church in Mississippi. The academy has gone through major changes between 1913 and 1917. The school is famously known as Chamberlain-Hunt Military Academy. The school is all male
