The military academy is run inside Leeds Middle School and both girls and boys from 9th Grade onwards can enroll. Philadelphia Military Academy is gaining recognition and the trend of public military schools is attracting people.

Code of Conduct

Philadelphia Military Academy is quite strict where discipline is concerned. The Academy requires its cadets to wear uniforms on campus in a proper manner. It also requires them to address their teachers as Sir and Ma’am. The Academy strictly follows guidelines of Army JROTC and asks its cadets to observe and act in military-decorum. Any disregard and violation of code of conduct can lead to suspension or permanent termination.

Extra-curricular activities

A cadet is nothing without leadership and discipline. Philadelphia Military Academy focuses on inculcating them along with academic excellence. The Academy promotes extra-curricular activities and encourages students to join them. It has also partnered with Willian Penn for varsity games like baseball, basketball and football. Other activities include military drills, color guards, archery, marksmanship, boat racing, raiders team, robotics etc.

Parent-teacher communication

Communication is continuously maintained with them to monitor the progress of every student using newsletters, confidential reports, flyers etc. They are invited to various workshops so they themselves can see their children’s performance.
